A Connecticut author is bringing the summer Olympic games home with a touch of murder and scandal — of her own invention, that is.
Sports reporter turned novelist Elise Hart Kipness is set to release “Dangerous Play,” a sequel to her debut novel, “Lights Out,” in September. The story continues the adventures of Kate Green, Kipness’ main character, as she picks up a new assignment covering women’s soccer at the Olympics. But the assignment gets complicated when Green finds out an old rival and former teammate is the U.S. women’s coach and yet another former teammate is found murdered in a locker room.
