PEOPLE has an exclusive first look at Close Call, the bestselling author’s forthcoming novel, out this summer from Thomas & Mercer. The book is the third novel in Kipness’ thriller series, which follows a former Olympic athlete-turned-sports reporter.
In Close Call, Kate, now an Emmy-winning journalist, is working on a feature for her weekly TV show at the U.S. Open in New York. She’s hoping to spotlight two up-and-coming female tennis players, until one of them suddenly goes missing.
